Reel Class 7/3 Half-Day Bottom Report (Seabass, Ling, Cod, Tog)

Had Chris and Sean charter the boat this morning with their boys and their friends for a half day trip.

Made about 4 drops on our reef and had lots of action on 3 of them. Loads of short seabass and bergalls, with enough keepers to keep it interesting. Some real nice jumbos in the mix. We self-imposed a 14" minimum on the seabass and filled the boat limit pretty easily -- biggest fish was ~2.5#. We also had some ling, a short cod, a few out of season tog, and a couple of giant silver eels in the mix.

For the trip we kept our legal limit of 16 seabass (all >14"), and 10 nice ling - real nice holiday fish fry coming up for them! Real nice quick trip - back at the dock before lunch time!!
