SH/RB Weekend - Whale of a story
Trolled Saturday from Military Pier to Hoffman and hooked one bass that dropped off plus blues. They seemed to like the white umbrella
Sunday, drifted for fluke from Highlands to Keyport flats. Seemed to like spearing and pink. Only one keeper at mouth of the river. Highlight of the day was two beluga whales by CG station. |

Re: SH/RB Weekend - Whale of a story
We got to see them out in the channel Saturday as they headed out past the tip of the hook. Were very surprised to see them and thought they were something else at first. Glad to see some got pictures of them as we tried but boats in channel pushed them down....

Re: SH/RB Weekend - Whale of a story
That's wild. What an experience.
The News reported that there were two belugas sited in Manhasset Bay in Long Island Sound last week. Hope they stick around a while. |
