Some big fish around today too.

Back at it again this morning. Second keeper of the day a nice P.B. 7.25 For Ray Silikowski only a 100 yards from yesterdays 8.0 . They were still chewing slow but steady and my crew of ace college students put together a nice catch of keepers. We stayed on the same drifts all day. My 10 pound devil fluke also made it to the fillet table where I made fast work of the tasty wings. They wanted gulp today whereas yesterdays fish including the big guy wanted meat ( sea robin strip). Rest day and fish fry tomorrow.

I have a boga which doesnt give tenths. The fish were also measured accurately on my board that you can see in my other post. Sundays big fish was 26.5 and Saturdays was 27.5 . They were thick and may have been bigger than what I said. Most of the others were just 18 -19 . The boys are all former Varsity Football and basketball players and 6 2 to 6 3. Pictures are all about perspective and not to be judged if you are doubting.

No need to explain as pictures can sometimes be deceiving. Based on length those are some really nice fish especially so early in the season. Great job on getting the boys on the meat.
