Reel Class Sunday 5/17 Report
Sorry for the very late report...
Sunday was a complete hack job for us. Ran to get the guys into some of those big bass -- about 3 minutes into the trip we had a knockdown on a chartreuse maja 4. Fish dogged tim for almost 7-8 minutes till we got her behind the boat - fish was a slob; spit the hook as Eric was reaching out to stick a hole in her!! Heartbreaker -- AND the kiss of death... Rest of the day we were LOOKING. Found some small blues on jigs on the beach, tried a little fluking (had Larry n Fred so we had to try!) and even tried dropping on some seabass bottom - NG. Finished the day trolling against my better judgment. Only had 1 more knockdown. Very disappointing day for us - some day's you're the bug and somedays you're the windshield - Sunday was our day
