Wild rainbow or holdover?
Anyone know if this is a holdover or a wild bow? Fins were enormous, and it fought really well. Not great pics, wanted to get it back in the water soon as possible without too much stress. Caught in the S branch.

Freshly stocked. I caught 20-25 Bows just like that one Thursday on the Passaic river.

Not sure what area on sbr you were fishing but it could be a kamloops holdover from the fall/winter stocking done by Shannon's fly shop and the musky hatchery. Those strains go bananas when hooked.
