Default Access locations to trout stocked waters

With opening day upon us here is a quick link to access locations to trout stock waters in New Jersey.

http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/accesscnty.htm

I know most already have their spots but for someone who is starting out that will be helpful. Someone like me for example.

That's a LOT of places to stock!!!!!
Hatchery's gotta be Jammin!!!!

Think it's supposed to be all Rainbows too due to last years issues.

Stocked trout...yawn, yawn, yawn. Yup that is good sport.

Opening day reminds me of going to a NEW YEAR'S EVE party late & everyone else is drunk already. At that point you realize what a-holes drunks are & stay sober.

Oh well to each his own, go fill them freezers with bland tasting trout feed on dog food.

Would rather see the state invest more revenue into other warm water species that have a shot @ holding over & establishing a sustainable fishery.

well it's more of a tradition at this point. it's an event. i go with my father-in-law every year and the big ones still fight great, so i'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. And although you're right about the different flesh taste, with a little effort you can make them taste great just like all the other fish people hate to eat because they're too lazy to put in the effort to cook them properly.

like i said it's a traditional event, i do opening day and maybe 2-3 other wading adventures for them when i'm too tired after work to lug a boat or kayak. I think you're looking at it the wrong way.
