Default Relentless charters is back

Good Day,

I feel I need to introduce myself again as I was not a sponsor last season because of selling one boat and purchasing another which was not set up till late in the season. My name is Capt Dave Waldrip of Relentless Charters and was previously out of Green Harbor, MA, fishing mainly for cod and haddock with some tuna, shark and bass mixed in. Many anglers here on NJFISHRMAN have fished with us in the past. With the current proposed regulations for 2015 being zero possession of cod and three or four haddock I will not be conducting any ground fishing charters this year. This season we will be fishing our new Jones Brothers 23’ center console in the spring for winter flounder and striped bass.

The boat has top of the line Garmin electronics to help us locate the fish. Once the water warms up and the school tuna arrive get ready for some exciting top water action casting poppers at 60-100 LB class fish or jigging for these powerful little torpedoes.

We are planning on being set up with all new custom popping and jigging rods this season providing the finest tackle for anglers who want to experience this type of fishing.

We have launched the new revamped website www.relentlesscharters.com and will continue to post fish reports after trips. Our rates are on the website and with the boat having a trailer we will be able to launch in other locations if that is where the fish are.
It is nice to be back on board here and don’t hesitate to call or email us if you have any questions.

Respectfully,
Capt Dave Waldrip

Thanks for the kind words and we will be posting some open boat trips for flounder shortly. Currently we have Sunday, May 10th, morning trip from 6:00 - 11:00. Later in the season we will be chasing the tuna for the jig and pop crew.

Dave

Welcome back. Something that I need to add to the list of things to do...top water popping for tuna. Hope to get out with you.

Bucktail,

Would love to have you fish with us, after this winter it can not come quick enough. I will not have alot of time to get the boat ready with the way the weather has been but being brand new it will not need more than a few days to make it clean and put the gear back on.

Popping and Jigging for tuna is exciting as hell, throwing plugs at pods of 100 lb class and larger crashing on baits than hearing the whine of 25 lbs o drag doing nothing but slowing the big boy down after the first run. Once we start with our flounder trips, both private and open boat in May, the tuna will arrive in decent numbers mid June and be here through the fall. Thanks for the comments and have a great season.

Respectfully,

Dave
