I just got into the Netflix past season releases. Cool show. But this prissy guy Dave is a real tool. LOL

I guess he must feel the need to tell others how wonderful he is?

The editing of the show is terrible. It's hard to believe the editors even watch what they create and don't realize how bad it is. They even screwed up the APP article saying Dave caught 15 last season then 2 paragraphs below they say he's been catching the same amount 40-60 per season for the last 20 years...

Actually the editing has gotten much better. They used to show a green reel on a fish and later on a gold one on the same fish. Agreed that it's still not great.

Aren't there different seasons in different areas? Last year they were out of Gloucester and later on North Carolina so maybe he did get his 40-60.

It's all show and makes for good TV (Drama)

I've knew Dave before the show (sponsor here since 2008) and met him a few times since. He takes his fishing seriously but is as nice as they come.

Well said Jerry. Dave and i have been fishing together for 26 years. he is as nice as you will find on the water. The editing is getting better each season. As for the number of fish he catches the show only seems to report what they film and build storylines about it.

i know for a fact all his fish from this upcoming TV series were all caught in New England waters as he sold the boat right after they were done fishing.

He is having a new one built. He says it will be ready real soon.

It would be nice if they let people who know fishing do the editing!
