Default Reel Class - New Boat!

Good Morning!

Saturday we close (FINALLY!) on the 35 Henriques I've been talking about since early September!

Why are we doing this? Comfort and fishability for our customers and friends. Many guys over the last year or two have made me aware the 31' was a great boat to fish on, but the lack of space to fish 5 or even 6 guys was an issue. So, we did what we had to do. 120' SQ of cockpit space, an actual working cabin, and just more room in general for our guys and girls to fish are what we are giving you.

We will try to squeeze in a few trips this season with the new boat, but we will be going full bore in 2015.

I've attached a couple of pics (for those that haven't seen them yet) - I will post more later today.

Thanks a lot for all the responses guys.

This has been a long time in the making. Although I love the Albemarle and what she's done for us, it was time for a change. Over the years seeing guys cramped up under the hardtop and basically being cramped back in the cockpit really made me WANT to move up a tad.

Being on McGivney's 38 here and there the last 2 years really got it going, and when this 35 came available I had to jump on it.

As Fin-S/Juicebox bob said on facebook yesterday, "Nostalgia running a business will get you passed by" -- I fully believe that and we had to do this to continue the ball rolling. Yeah we're only full-time during the summer but we love what we're doing, and we want to make our customers come back and fish on a BETTER platform, while expanding our range.

This isn't a "keeping up with the joneses" move in most ways - we are just looking to move up and keep things rolling in the better interest of our customers/friends who fish with us all year long
