![]() If anyone is fishing our bigger rivers, are the stripers still in the rivers or have they already gone back to the ocean this season?
Asking because i have not caught one yet and would like to try fishing for them in Passaic river below the Dundee Dam area. Will be trying bucktails. |

![]() We will need some serious, sustained rain for you to fish down there with any luck. No Bass and those shallow rocks will eat your bucktails all day.

![]() so without days of rain it is too shallow to fish the dundee dam area?
Are the hundson river banks out in north jersey also the same way? Still going to give it a shot (probably next week) and if i start to lose bucktail jigs then i'll leave haha. |

![]() Being that the river now is still at "summertime low", you could walk across it and barely get your knees wet there. The rain we got this week wasn't enough to do anything.
