![]() Hey all,
I live in fort lee area... I have a home in pt pleasant beach so majority of my fishing is done in that area. I mainly fish freshwater up by my primary residence when I'm jonesing hard to wet a line. I've tried my luck with the Hudson but have had limited luck if eels and cats and never got a bass from land. I have tried some common spots and have just met rough crowds and lots of snags. I understand not to far from me in the Hackensack they have a decent fishery, especially in the Meadow lands area. Anyways I would love some general insight as to better my odds since Id love to be able to kill some time a few nights a week without embarking on a 140 mile round trip and limited sleep for work the next day. Much appreciated. Mr.WhaleFart ![]() |

![]() Fish the river in Secaucus behind the hotel Red Roof Inn. Use finesse or ronz lures. I haven't done it but I have seen a big bass jump while I was in the area. Be careful lots of hookers and pimps in that hotel.

![]() IN Secaucus, Laurel Hill Park there is a ramp and floating dock.
I've seen a couple fill a 5 gallon bucket with white perch on worms.
