October 6 surf report

[Jigginfish]

Back at it again tonight after good fishing last night with different results. Hit the same spot I had luck last night. Right away there were birds working so it looked pretty good. A couple buddies and I started casting our swim shads which had produced last night only to get torn up by bluefish. Switched over to metal and plugs and each caught a handful of small blues about a pound each. The wind was whipping making it difficult to fish. We headed home early instead of waiting for the tide change wind and lull in action after the bluefish blitz was over. Had a good time now just waiting for the full moon to pass and I'll be back at em.
