![]() Hit the big d this morning at a area im not so familiar with. Walked up river about a mile And a half in knee deep water! After a ton of walking without so much as a sunny i start thinking water level was the problem. Start heading back when i make a off cast and my rapala land's in about 4inches of water and about a 2 lb smallie does about 3 back flips and finally fish on! Now im thinking Dumb luck and another half mile back when all of a sudden the big guy flipped the switch for me every couple casts i got bumped or caught one nothing huge all from 8 to 15 inches but a blast on the 7ft ultra light! Sorry no picts! Lucky for me i left my phone in the truck as my pelican box leaked like a blank blankedy blank blank blank! Was a awesome overcast morning wadding the river i can't get enough of that stuf!

![]() The bite is definitely on. Schools of fry everywhere, topwater, deep water and shallows. The bigger 'eyes and stripes are feeding heavy as well. June and October are outstanding on the D'. This low water is forcing me to fish much earlier and later than I normally would though.

![]() Interesting.. I have noticed the same thing here in NY in the Susquehanna,,|
Go several hours without a scratch, and then bang you start hammering fish left and right for an hour or two, and then one it dies down its totally dead. it happens to me a lot.. You would think there wasn't even one fish.. Until you start hammering them left and right, ...until you don't.... bob |
