![]() Today it felt like I should have been tying on diamond jigs and searching the horizon for birds with Captain Kevin looking for stripers! Sure felt more like late September than mid August.
The AM trip had some real beauties, Mike Klein had 3 fish including a near winner of 6 1/2 lb and a 6 lber with a 19 inch kicker. Rich was the man though coming in first with a 7 lber along with a 5 1/2 and 4 1/2 lbers. Another 5 1/2 lb fish was landed along with a nice bunch of keepers and shorts. The PM trip was slower but John Neilson prevailed with a 4 lb pool winner. Thanks to a great crew on both trips today. Tomorrow looks great so see you down there. |

![]() That guy Mike was on fire, it wasn't until I realized I actually had what he was using and went bigger with the "bait" that I started really hooking up, had 2 keepers (nothing like his though) and a bunch of shorts, some just missing, but the action is always welcome. Don't get out with you guys often, but when I do you guys always do a great job of being at the rail for netting fish and helping out.
cheers
