BOUNTY HUNTER - Open Boat Seabass Limit, 6/3
Capt. Paul ran his last scheduled Open Boat Seabass trip today. On board we had Tom. Ryan, John, Bob, Ed & Joe. Yesterday's strong south winds slowed the Seabass bite so we had to work a little harder to put together the catch. We made 4 drops today finding life on 3. On the first 2 we had a slugish bite and only boxed 53 Seabass. On the 3rd we came up empty. However on the 4th stop the bottom was alive with large Seabass. The boys went to work and filled the cooler with 37 more quality Seabass, finishing the day with a 6 man limit catch of 90 Seabass. We left them biting when we started for home. It was another good day with a good crew that know how to bottom fish.
