Golden Eagle - Friday Bluefishing & Stripers
We were able to pick at the BLUES today, a little slower than the past few days. The fish ranged in size from 3 to 10 lbs and were caught on Run Off Hammer jigs and/or Croc's.
Late in the afternoon we came up on several schools of bunker and had a lot very large STRIPERS breaking water and crashing the bunkers all around the boat. We managed to hook a few but did not land any, maybe this the begining of the STRIPER run we have been waiting for.
The weather looks great for the entire weeekend, so come on down and get a start to the summer fishing season
The GOLDEN EAGLE sails daily for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30am from Belmar Marina.
