Good idea Andy. May as well start with the usual, annual trout program meeting at Pequest on Sat Feb 15, 10:00AM.

The south Jersey Freshwater Fisheries forum should be 2 weeks later but it's not yet posted on the F&W website.

We do have a Calendar/Events section on the site and you can post them there as well.... Makes it easier to keep track of.

Heh, yep, good call! Didn't think of that one since I haven't fished the opener for many years now. I'm usually doing opening day surveys for F&W on a S. Jersey lake somewhere.

Also, as soon as they're posted by the Div. we should post the Free Fishing Days. They'll most likely be in early/mid June as they usually fall in conjunction with National Fishing and Boating Week. These days are a great opportunity for everyone to introduce a friend or family member to some of the stellar freshwater fishing we have in NJ, and hopefully hook another new angler!

I am also going to garbage spot burn the south branch of Raritan in Hunterdon County, what do you have to say about that! On Sunday June 1st 2014 there is a Central Jersey Stream Team river clean up!

Hope to see more fisherman involved this year! We all know where the garbage is located, so come help us remove it and make 20 more miles into a more productive fishery for all to enjoy!
