hopped on board friends boat today. left shark river at about 6:30. headed up to the new grounds. fished 2 spots all day. alittle crowded up there and that made double anchoring tough but we managed. first spot i got 4 keepers including one about 8 lbs. that spot died and we made a move about 1/2 mile away. got 4 more keepers here with one going about 9. also dropped a beast. all in all a good day with constant action (for me at least
) caught close to 30 blacks (keepers and shorts) only keeping my limit the other two on board did not fair as well. also caught 2 sea bass. the key today was casting around- only lost 3 sinkers. all my fish were caught on green crabs. man i love blackfishing.
