Default Tidal tails jigs for blackfish

Anyone have success in jersey using tidal tails jigs for blackfish or any other type of banana jig tipped with crab

I want to give it a try but I'm looking for some help with the technique and feel for the bite

I have seen guys using both, especially the NY anglers, where these are made primarily, and they caught fish. I just bought some today myself for upcoming outings....hoping they'll give me the edge next time out...

Used mainly in shallow water in Long Island for years..Lately some have been being used in jersey , but they are using the banana type jigs tipped with a Asian crab or a small piece of green...They ( meaning more then one ) have told me that they really work and the bigger tog slam the jigs..I don't bucktail or use jigs, only going by what I am told from reliable sources...

FYI...we do sell them and as mentioned used in NY prior to hitting the NJ market. Feel free to our website for info and pics. As a side note we are less expensive than those mentioned and are a site sponsor. Guessing once NJ season opens like NY we will see more sales from NJ fisherman.

Any questions feel free to call and as always we ship next day!

How are u supposed to fish these? Do you bounce it like fluke bucktailing? Or just leave it on the ground unmoving? And how do you not get hung up on the structure or rocks every single time?
