BOUNTY HUNTER - Open Boat Fluke Limit (Almost), 9/15
Ran another Open Boat Fluke trip today. On board we had Bounty Hunter regulars Steve, Paul, Mark and newcomer Dave. We set out into a brisk NW wind in the AM which put a roll on the ocean the further offshore you went. On our first stop we had a fast 1.6 Knot drift but still managed to pick a few. As the morning wore on the wind dropped out and we were down to a .3 Knot drift. The conditions did not slow down the bite as we picked a few on all our stops. When we started for home we thouhght we had a limit catch of 20 Fluke in the box. So we thought, but a miscount on the number of fish in the box turned out to be 19 when we unloaded for the dock shot. So we missed the limit by 1. Another good day with a good group and they all still love Tony.
