After a bumpy 35 miles the weather turned gorgeous when we reached the edge. Trolled the west wall with no action and crossed over to the east at the corner. Half way across we had two bites and the crew landed 2 longfins. All pumped we thought this was the start of something- but that was it. Trolled till dark with no bites, landed a few mahi, released a small sword at night and the morning troll was uneventful. For all but one of the boys this was their first canyon trip and although they were disappointed we didn't do better, they really enjoyed the experience and the calm seas.

Capt,
Nice work. The Hudson has been tough. My buddies were out there at the same time and didnt have a hit on the troll and only caught a blue shark on the chunk....hope it picks up. |
