Colorful bow...
Its not wild but it sure is pretty. Holdover from spring. Longer they stay alive, the more they lose their Pequest gray.

One of our smaller stocked streams that also holds wild brown trout. I caught plenty of those as well albeit much smaller 4 to 10" fish.

I know stockie browns if they survive a season or two, take on some good color to the point they are hard to distinguish from wild brown trout. Must be the change in diet
