INSUFISHENT FUNDS Late Canyon Trip Kinda..... 8/16/13

Well the trip started out as a Bluefin trip leaving the dock at 4 am heading to the Resor area. Trolled around for a while with no bait marks in the usual areas and really not feeling good about it we picked up and ran to the AP area. After trolling there with much better bait marks we decided to stop and chunk for a while but, after a mile drift with decent marks and not much being caught in the area we picked up and headed to the West wall of the Hudson for Tile Fish.....lol It was so flat and nice I had to let the venture run a little...... after we got 10 tiles we headed to the 100 sq in search of big eyes. Trolled there for a couple hours and only managed 4 Longfin that all came on Reel Seats new Red and White Machine Bar(ill be getting more of these) so at 4pm we decided to hit up the Mahi with great results getting 20 good sized fish in an hour on Shimano WaxWings and could have easily caught a 100.... Rode home at 38 knots on flat calm seas... total round trip ALOT....
