what the hell
can you catch in the back bay now?
talking perth amboy/back channel area are there any fluke around? i may take a trip this afternoon - don't want to ride all the way out to the hook and am trying to convince my kid to go with me - but if i don't catch he is not going to have fun.

Bring some smaller hooks, the edge of the reach channel has a lot of croakers if you cant find any fluke. Usually around the very top of the channel edge. They read like a scattered school of bunker on the fish finder.

If it's Fluke you are talking about in the back bay, unless something has changed, I wouldn't waste my time. Everyone is fishing out by the Ammo Peer and east of that... All the party boats in the back are making the run too I don't think they want to take that ride unless they had too
