Miss Belmar Princess weekend wrap up

Over the weekend, Captain Lenny continued to angle north of shark river inlet. In the mornings he continued to look for blues and stripers to no avail. We were still able to catch some fluke & sea bass with some ling mixed in. Some areas were better than others and we picked and plucked all day.

Friday & Saturday night, fishing was pretty much the same as it was in the mornings. Captain Scotty headed out to the fishing grounds in search of blues with no luck. He looked around and there was nothing new so he decided to anchor up and do some bottom fishing for ling. Picked away at a few fish around the boat and caught a blue. Due to the lack of fish at night, we will only be sailing on Friday & Saturday nights from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. until it picks up.

John Silva from Phoenixville, PA with a 3 lb fluke
Justin Park from Old Tappan, NJ with a 4 lb fluke
Asher Block from Belmar, NJ with a 3 lb fluke
Don Marantz from Clarksburg, NJ with a 5.2 lb fluke

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. & again every Friday & Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
