Went out last night around 5 went left made some bait then popped a troll looking for marks outside the fleet, got to put our restored 11' spoon poles out for a run. Came tight on white fairly soon and brought in a nice 30# , put em back out and turned in then wham nice 40#. At about that time it looked like the beans got spilled hard , the boats from the south were coming up like a race for a million bucks... Then the fish shut off for some reason... Stopped on some marks that didn't hang long and put out the livies... Nada, think the bass got a lil intimidated by the whales around, amongst a few other boats. Had one run off and called it a night. Still good to get some bend in the "Neil" rods. Thanks man , I know you were watching.
