Tile trip on Russian Roulette with a surprise
Headed out 2am with scubanut ,his father and 2 more guys to the canyon.Weatherman was right ,imagine that. We get to the spot ,flat seas whales all around us and NO drift . Slow pick in the morning but then fishing picked up .Limited the boat with tiles and then came the surprise
 .Blue fin tuna !!!! they are here !!!!. First we get our under then we get our over .Nice to hear lines scream .Headed home around 3.30pm . Scubanut senior outfished us all on the tiles . Man is in his 70's worked the rod like a teenager . Big thank you to sportsfishingusa for catering our trip .The brisket and mac and cheese were da bomb.Mate Tommy did a good job and Cpt.Denis as always on the fish .Great trip ,great group of guys .Sashimi today for lunch and dinner .it's now 4 for 4 .No misses here .Scubanut will post pictures.

Definately was a great trip, thanks for the invite Ryan, the boat, Captain and mate were first rate and did a great job. The boat is very comfortable, the Captain really knows his stuff and the mate did everything expected of him. The tiles cooperated, we got our limit and the two landed tuna's were a big bonus.
Nice fishing with you guys, hope we can do it again sometime. If you are planning a tile trip and looking for a charter, give the Russian Roulette a call, you will not be sorry. Last edited by Bates; 05-28-2013 at 11:36 AM..

What a trip. Capt. Denis has yet to disappoint. The crew was great, Timmy da mate worked hard. It was a smooth ride to the canyon and then game on. Limits of Tiles, bonus fish in the tuna, Vinny actually delivered the food this time. Thanks Vin it was delicious. Sashimi at the dock, Bag for everyone.
My father was on fire, not only was this his first tile trip ever, but only his second trip out to the canyon. Bob it was a pleasure, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and the entertainment provided by Dave and I.
