Default Stripes Roe

Those of you who know me understand how I don't put striper filets on the top of the list. However, those tasty egg sacks are certainly worth eating. Poach them to firm em up a little and eat them with crackers or make a pâté

When taking your three fish (bonus tag) on a hot bite, you can feel for the amount of eggs, after awhile, you can almost know exactly how many of those tasty morsels there are.

You can use them the same way as tobiko as well.

The eggs sacks do turn green just before a spawn, it is normal.
Poached with butter is the way to go.

Getting a bonus tag for my 5 year old nephew, he doesn't eat fish but likes the pâté
