Finally the weather broke. Both our 60' Ritchie and the 57' A-Salt went yesterday and boys on the A-Salt found the fish. They went 3 for 6 with all the fish on the large size. They released one around 80" and two from 85" - 90". They were fishing east of Oregon Inlet about 30 miles or so. All the fish were trolled. They had a couple shots where jigging and popping made sense when they read the fish under the boat heavy but no takers.
It was quiet for the rest of the fleet but now that we finally got a weather break it will give us time to find the fish.
All three boats are fishing today - 48 & 60 Canyon Runners and th 57' A-Salt so let's hope for some great reports.
