Arrow Jamaica II -Cod/Pollock

Best showing of Cod and Pollock of any trip so far this winter today along with some nice big fat Ling. Mostly everybody went home some a hefty bag of filets. Cod were mostly all keepers from 5 - 12 lbs. Pollock were bigger up to 30 lbs.
Dave Prybylowski Mendham, NJ 2 Pollock 2 Cod and 12 Ling
Nick Huzar Manalapan, NJ 2 Pollock 2 Cod 10 Ling
Eric Stender Middlesex, NJ 4 Cod 2 Pollock 10 Ling and a Taug

Pool winner was John Kowal Silverbeach, NJ 31 lb Pollock

Ryan Scherrer Hammonton, NJ 11 lb Hake, 3 Cod and 10 Ling
Capt Andy of the pioneer and Evelyn went home with a couple of bags of Cod and Ling filets
Kevin Grozbowski Princeton NJ had 3 Cod , 3 Pollock and 9 Ling

Great day to be on the water and some pretty good fishing.

Capt Steve

Gotta' love a nice showing of local winter cod.

Those big pollock remind me of the summer overnight wreck trips that the Jamaica/Paramount ran in the 80's. Most of the catch was big Pollock caught on diamond jigs with a teaser above. If I remember correctly a smattering of cod, ling and big white hake added to the catch.
