Default Big Jamaica Saturday Offshore Report

Offshore

1-5 Offshore Sea Bass Report

Space Available This Week

Another Good Day on the Offshore Wrecks!

Fishing was very good again on the Saturday offshore trip. Everyone caught limits of sea bass, big porgies and some small bluefish.
The pool winners were:
Mike Strauss from Manville NJ with a 6LB sea Bass,
Mazimo Santos from Flushing NY with a 5.5LB Sea Bass.

There were plenty of sea bass around the wreck and we left them biting.
It looks good for upcoming trips. There is a good migration of giant sea bass and still plenty more porgies on their way to the offshore wrecks.

The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail offshore every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday leaving 11PM the night before.

Today was a fun trip. My buddy and I put on our largest cbass ever on the first drop. Then it was drop and reel the rest of the day with. 20+" cbass. Seas were not cooperating like NOAA said they would but the cbass did not seem to mind. some huge PORK CHOPS came over the rail today as well. Got a bunk and I'm glad we did since it as a very long steam out and back.

Gonna go back in Feb to try and do it again. Heated hand rails ROCK!!!
