![]() Spooled up a new battle and a shimano with Power Pro Slick and this is by far the worst line i have ever used. Works well for pitching light bucktails for fluke. Decided to try throwing a plug and had 4 wind knots on 4 casts. Switched over to the shimano with a 1 oz jig head and 6 inch shad and same results 4 for 4. I have been a power pro fan for years but this line is Horrible for plugging!!!!!!!

Yes it is!!! The Windtamer is perfect for eliminating wind knots. We have been slowly converting people over to it. Fishermen are set int heir ways, but once they try it, they don't leave it. ![]() |

![]() Haven't had any issues with the slick yet, but I don't cast too far with it. Maybe it sucks for surfcasting. I only boat fish so I wouldn't know. I tried the Fins a couple of years ago. I had the limited stretch braid which I liked, and the regular braid which I didn't like. Never tried the wind tamer.
