Another pic of a nice fish I landed last night...which by the way guys...I was trolling for big walleyes....I suggest you hang up your musky gear permanently and go to cabela's and watch them swim around in a tank if you're worried about causing harm to them; you shouldn't fish at all if you're worried about causing harm to the resource..even in colder temps. you think driving hooks into their mouths and then making them fight for there lives to escape is not stressful even if you get them in quickly????: if you see any tinges of red on their scales...they are stressed...even with fin saver nets fins split and they bleed.... get real and get with the program you are entitled to your opinions...but I disagree....on a lighter note...buddy joined me later on for a few hours and we also axed 14 walleyes....

Not trying to push buttons or offend you. I completely understand what your saying about driving hooks into them and using large baits with these fish. You can have all the proper equipment and do everything right and these fish will still be stressed I understand that and its happened to me before. But with water temps being this high, that adds a lot more stress to these fish. You can continue to fish for them and that's your choice and your opinion which you are absolutely entitled to, but Muskies are a special low density fish that need proper care and warm water does not help. Like I said if you want to continue to fish go ahead just be careful.

The real program is the one that the Hackettstown Hatchery and NJ Muskies Inc. are engaged in to promote the sport and fishery throughout the State. Big healthy fish like that are in 13 or so lakes because of the efforts of many people in both those organizations over many years.
