![]() I often catch sharks with multiple hooks embedded in their jaws and try to remove them with an Arc Dehooker. I can't get the hang of using this dehooker!
What dehooker do you guys use to remove hooks from sharks? |

![]() Welded a spring loaded clip to the end of a stainless pole, will take a photo to show you, just clip it over the line, follow it down to the jaw, and push down real hard. Works as long as some of the hook is visible, if the hook is inside the mouth, dehookers won't work, then you have to reach in with your hand and turn the shark inside out, then use the dehooker

![]() if all else fails, cut the leader as close to the mouth as possible. the hook should rust out soon enough.
