Default what size hook for passiac river pike??

hey guys, so im gonna give the passiac a shot on sun. never been there so i wanna get familiar with the river. ive never used live bait for pike, so what type and size of hook would you guys recommend? thanks!

Only amateurs use live bait for PIKE.... j/k

hahaha, i know, im a lure man myself, i very rarely use live bait, but i see lots of guys here use it. i am bringing my go to lures but if i have no luck id give shiners a shot.

Bro, just throw a bright colored stick/jerk bait or a double spinner bait with trailer and you will have no probs... trust me...

Hate to say it, but u will prob come home with a few less lures than when u started. But its worth a try.

Lately I've been using eagle claw snelled nylawire liters, size 1/0 hook.
