help
not having a good fall!! hit the musky and the peaquest only had 1 bow. looking to try the gorge. any 1 know if they stock that in the fall?? any1 with info. would b greatly appreciated.

when they stocked the gorge i tried fishing the week after. 2 different trips i only got 1 10" brown. very hard to catch then but mabey the water cooled down more and they should be more hungry

try fishing slower and concentrate on long deep runs, pools, downed trees (throw into the branches below the water) around large rocks in the rivers especially if fishing in the Gorge. There are plenty of fish in the rivers you mentioned.

Fish are sluggish... and are now spread out.. you need to work the water
Most of the fish I have been getting are hitting light or dropping and sitting my bait on the bottom and letting it sit.. i pick up my line feel resistance and bam there on without even hitting. there just mouthing the bait |

I have to agree on the sluggishness of the fish. I had a fish on and didn't feel like it hit at all, it felt like I just snagged a leaf or stick in the water. Missed a nice bow because I was sure it was just my lure hanging up on something just to see it swim away when i got the lure to shore. Was a tough lesson learned.
