started out ok with a few stripers here and there at about 12am went to a spot that i always do good at but found no bait in water fished there only to catch some big catfish, biggest crappie i have ever seen and to my suprise a fresh water eel about 3 feet long. moved to other side of lake to only catch catfish . never found any good readings of bait !! hopefully water clears and fish come back!!!!!!! |

Re: spruce run
Thanks for the report. I like hearing about Spruce Run Hybrids. I've been out a half dozen times this year and only got 4 [all returned] so any info to help me do better would be greatly appreciated. Just joined the forum but have been hanging out for a couple months. Just started fishing again after a 15 year lay off.
Thanks again Phil |

Re: spruce run
Anyone know when the night bite for the hybrids usually lasts until?

Re: spruce run
We caught some in late November on Lake Hopatcong jigging for walleye during the day. The KDC website actually shows some being caught through the ice !
