![]() Anyone heading out today? I kinda want to hike up to a lake and throw some froggies - think it's a good idea?

![]() The water-surface might be a bit too choppy for surface lures, maybe it will calm down later today.
Not sure how a weather-front like this will effect the bite, if you go out let us know how you make out.

![]() Will definitely report back - good thought on the surface lures - even if i'm dragging frogs across lily pads it might still be too rough - ...
who wants to eat off a moving plate? good point... will give it the old cranky senko frog and see how each produces... cheers |

![]() took dogs to public farm in Wall Twp. Back at the pond a dad and his twin sons were fishing.........they had a 20" channel (hot dogs) on the grass and were pulling in another (lost at shoreline) about the same size.
Nice thick fish! |

![]() If the water if fishable go for it. The pressure is on a steady climb after bottoming out last night. Fish could be active. Let us know. I'd love to see how you do.

![]() bah humbug - nothin - lots of chop for that place - didn't spend much time as i hear what sounded like tornado sirens (at least that's what they sounded like in my old town) so i decided to get out of there.. spent about 45-1hr fishing, no love... hit a nice spot on the way back and saw what appeared to be a pickerel feeding on something along the cabbage real quick, but nothing beside that...
i do have to say, i never got 'hit' with a wind before... but when I did for the first time today, it was pretty awesome... it actually felt like something hit me (maybe some shrapnel did) but it was pretty neat.. tried to clear up some of the path on the hike back down as I passed an elderly couple on the way down.. hope they have a safer trip down.. |
