caught my first carp and eel today

i went to the BIG D to fish for channels with night crawlers.instead i got a 30 inch carp,a bunch of eels and 1 channel.still a great day.
does anyone know how much a 30" carp with nice girth would weigh.

30'' carp is a nice catch(and release unless you eat those suckers) in my book is a nice fish. " bunch of eels"- see my recent post, like to learn

Have only fished for carp once and got one; however, bowfishing is another story...exploding out of the water with an arrow in the mid-section...almost priceless, especially if ya know an ole guy that will eat him!
