![]() My son and I hit a small river this afternoon. Plenty of trout and mosquitos. Thank God he was smart enough to bring some Skin So Soft. Even with that on I got my a** chewed up. Worse mosquitos I've seen in a while. I missed too many fish banging them off my exposed skin. Walked through lots of poison ivy to get to some spots. End up with eight rainbows. Four nice keepers. Four released. He caught a beautiful 2 1/2 lb rainbow on a butterworm which he released. It was really nice fishing with a man that is also my son. Can't explain the feeling. You would of have to been in my shoes today. A memorable day for both of us. Nice fish Doug!

![]() IMO, there's nothing better better than speniding time afield or on the water your kids.
Mosquitos, poison ivy, ticks, etc. are just mere inconveniences; I promise you these father/son trips will be the memories that will stay with us for the reminder of our lives & theirs! Great work! - JC |
