Fished for two hours and caught one very small brookie. According to one angler no one else caught anything all afternoon. Two anglers who fished there opening day said it sucked. There were about 30 people fishing. They saw one 23" trout caught. That's it.
Moved upstream two miles and caught two keeper brookies on butterworms. Released two other small ones. Fish started feeding after 7:00 PM. A beaver (four legged variety) came ashore 6 feet from me and fed on some vegetation. No fear in it at all. It was very big. Probably around 35 pounds. That was very kool. |
