shark river pond??
so, i took a drive over there today w/ my 3 year old just to check it out, seen 2 park rangers. walked down to the pond, looks decent and clear, lotta shore line to fish from. so i figured id ask the park rangers to the low down, not so much. "scuse me sir, what can you tell me bout the pond" "ehh, theres a few sunfish, and not to many bass. thats bout it" "is there enough to keep my daughter occupied?" "i wouldnt wast my time", "most people fish the stream for trouT, and even thatts not great" I thanked him for his enthusiastic response and walked to my truck and left.
Ive never fished here, or hear alotta bout it, but from what ive heard its barley worth it to go back unless i hear other wise. Its a shame tho its close, easiy accesible, and clear. if any one here has any input it would be greatly appreciated. - Thank you |

Re: shark river pond??
In the summer the are tons of bluegills and sunnies all over the pond. That was the place where I caught my first fish. Also there are some decent sized bullhead catfish in the pond if your daughter wants to catch something bigger. Also there are a couple of crappie hear and there as well.

Try the pond down the road behind the hamilton firehouse.
