how long do u steam lobster
just bought 3 lobsters from shopright 4.99 a pound. how long should i steam them for

10 minutes for the first pound, then 2 minutes for each addtional pound.
ie: a 1 1/2 lb lobster takes 14 minutes. Googled the info a month ago when I steamed afew and they came out perfect.

make sure the water is well salted. put em on a rack in the pot and steam away. By the way 4.99 is still a great deal. belford is to far for me to go and bye lobster. shop right id usually 8.99 a pound, I was happy to pay 4.99.
