Father's Day Walleye

Went walleye fishing with my son last night for Father's Day. I thought I was doing alright with two 24 inchers, then he buried me with this 28 3/4 monster. She registered 8.55 pounds on the digital scale and was released to fight another day.

That one should have been mine.

Beauty, that's a long fish. It's what makes all those nighttime excursions worthwhile, just that one hit you dream about. Awesome stuff, put in the hours and the effort and that's why some are rewarded with personal bests.
