Default Blackfish

Anyone know when blackfish opens back up ? Family bought myself the Century Pro Togger and I want to use it. Just need a reel. Any suggestions

Opens up again for one month in April 4 fish at 15 inches then closes till August

As far as reel it depends on your budget and what sort of preference you have... I you like the lighter low profile bait casters the Daiwa Lexa 300H or Penn Fathoms would be at the top of my list. If you like lever drags the Avet SX and if you have the money and want something a bit heavier but more beefy, the Daiwa Saltiga with spool lock.

Put a few different reels on it to see what floats the rod perfectly balancing it .
Fathom 2 star drag in a size 12 or 15 should be a good fit .

Penn low profile fathoms are too high speed for tog .
