There is a tourist marina on the south center of the island that specializes in taking tourists for boatrides. Think trolling for barracuda and false albacore. I don't know if you can get a bottom boat there, but you are fishing in the lee of the island, so it should be possible. There is a smaller marina on the northwest corner of the island called Hadicurari marina that is home to boats that commercial fish. You can charter there and get some real fishing. Be aware big seas are the norm there which can make bottom fishing difficult. Trolling there you can get wahoo, yellowfin and blackfin tuna, billfish, mahi, etc. I used a boat "Melina" there, I doubt its still around, when there was no charter they commercial fished for the restaurants so the crew was really dialed into the fishery. Good Luck !

Captain Marcelino on the Caroline will put you on the fish. Fished with him this past week and caught wahoo, tuna, mahi, barracuda, rainbow runner and bonito all in the same trip. You won’t be disappointed if you fish with Marcelino. Good luck!

Captain Rich - Hadicurari. Your description above is accurate. It was nautical out there but they were dialed in on where the fish were
