Sea bass are biting and open. Most of the good fluke fishing is still in the backwater. Definitely give your customers more meat by sea bass fishing right now.

The Gambler is targeting Fluke. However, the ocean water temp is still a little too cool.

The Gambler is fishing for fluke and sea bass on the same spots.

Sea Bass action is good. Fluke are still lethargic but we are catching some every trip. Regular Julie was with us yesterday, targeting fluke and caught two keeper fluke and won the pool with a 3.5lber. We had a nice catch of sea bass with a few bigger ling, too.

Most of the half day head boats in Atlantic Highlands are Fluke fishing, very short ride since most of the action is well inside the hook. Most others boats are fishing for Seabass and will switch over when the Seabass gets slow and the ocean Fluking improves.
