Default Bass beatdown + blackfish 4-24

Started out the morning with the live baits off the ammo pier. Had an incredible amount of marks in the area and they were on the bunker right away. To start, we were 0-6. They werent eating right, just playing with the baits. We finally got the tide change along with some west wind and next thing you know it was game on. Ran through 40 bunker in no time, having 2-3 on at a clip. That lasted until 10:00 when the wind completely flunked out, and the traffic began to build.

We decided with how nice it was to run offshore and grab some tog before the season closes. Got anchored up, and in 2 hours had 27 keepers and a ton of shorts on top. Ran back to the dock and called it a day just as the south wind was picking up. Released 2 big females, both around 8 lbs a piece.

Thinking about making a possible run for tile fish this upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday. Dont have much experience, but I caught a few last year and I am now ADDICTED. I have a bunch of numbers I have been given by a few buddies, but other than that does anyone have a bunch of tile fishing experience and want to bullshit? Send me a message.

That's a great report. Thanks. When you were using live bunker - were you anchored or drifting?
