Newbie here (both on the forum and boating w/ a 50 yr old vessel ![]() Went out yesterday early am was trolling w a mojo @ 7mph saw some marks on the finder early but no bites. Question when are they making the run and whats the best tacticts to land one. Caught 1 last season w a liveline bunker....any tips will be appreaciated Thanks |

Way too fast on the Mojos, try 2-3 MPH. |

Umbrella rigs are also doing well with storm shads attached.

![]() the fish are behind - not much ocean side. one of the best years this early in the season so far. party boats cant catch them in numbers yet because they cant get to where the fish are, so wait. that's why the pb's have stayed mostly with bottom stuff now.
