Joined the No Sleep Club
After reading countless posts about the spring striper run I decided to join the no sleep club myself. I expected there to be a lot of people out fishing but this was as crazy as opening day of trout season. Not wanting to fish with others right on top of me I did some research and found a nice little spot with only one other guy fishing. I waded out and started casting a big jerk bait and within a few casts was hooked but but the fish came off. Tide was going out and as it did the bunker were everywhere. Switch lures and kept casting and ended up landing and releasing 3 stripers with the largest going just over 30" and lost a few more.
